¶ 7D2D: How to Update to Experimental 1.0 [Deprecated]
The 7 Days to Die 1.0 update is the first official version of the game that is no longer in early access. While this update will be on experimental until the full release, it's able to be played on this branch for the time being until the official update on the stable branch on July 25th, 2024. This update introduces a brand new character system, new player armor, new animal models, a new challenge system, new vehicle models, new POIs, new zombies, graphics updates, and so much more. If you've never played 7 Days to Die, this is the time to start playing and grab a server from indifferent broccoli.
¶ Steps: Server Side
1. Open the Server Management tab
2. Click Update To (Latest_Experimental)
3. Your server will restart and update to the experimental version.
¶ Steps: Client Side
1. Right click 7D2D in Steam
2. Click Properties
3. In the menu, select Betas
4. Next to Beta Participation, click the dropdown and select the version you want to opt into.
5. Your game will automatically update to the selected verison.
