¶ ARK: How to Configure INI Settings
Ark has two main configuration files Game.ini and GameUserSettings.ini
Guides for both can be found on the Ark Configuration Wiki Page
¶ Editing Game.ini
1. Open the Advanced Server Settings (Game.ini)
2. Add each value you want to modify in this field
For example editing UnlimitedRespecs and SpecifiedEngrams:
[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
bAllowUnlimitedRespecs=True
bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=False3. Save the config and restart the server.
¶ Editing GameUserSettings.ini
1. Open the File Manager
2. Navigate to steamcmd/ark/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/GameUserSettings.ini
3. Right click GameUserSettings.ini and click Edit
4. Edit the values and close the editor, click save to save your changes.
5. Restart your server.
