¶ ARK: How to Switch to PvE
You can switch to PvE if you want to play more cooperatively and not be able to hurt your friends. The game can be much more enjoyable when all you have to worry about are more predictable NPCs and enemies.
¶ Steps:
1. Open the File Manager
2. Navigate to /steamcmd/ark/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/
3. Right click GameUserSettings.ini and click Edit
4. Under the [ServerSettings] section, add the line ServerPVE=true
5. Save the file and Restart the server
