Counter Strike 2 has hundreds of commands that can be used to administer and customize your game. If you can think of doing it, you can probably do it with a Counter Strike console command. This guide will go through some of the most commonly used console commands and what they do. A full list of Counter Strike 2 commands can be found here. 1. bot_add, bot_add_ct, bot_add_t
- These commands will spawn a bot in game with the specified team if you wish. This is good for using your server as a practice server for you and your friends.
2. sv_cheats true
- This command must be ran first to enable any cheat commands
3. kick PlayerName
- This command will kick the player specified. You can also use their PlayerID in place of the name.
4. mp_backup_restore_load_file [filename.txt]
- This command will load the specified round backup. This is useful when needing to go back to replay or retry a strategy. You can list the backups with mp_backup_restore_list_files
5. mp_pause_match
and mp_unpause_match
- Pauses and unpauses the game respectively.
6. changelevel mapname
= Changes the map to the specified map. Can be used with workshop maps.
7. game_mode
- This command changes the game mode currently on the sever like deathmatch, casual, etc.
8. give
- This command will give your character the specified item. See a full list of items here.
