¶ Enshrouded: Restore a Backup or Roll Back Your Save
If something happened on your server and you need to restore a backup, you'll be able to use the file manager to find a recent backup and restore your save.

¶ Method 1: Use our Indifferent Broccoli Backup Tab
We keep 3 days' worth of automated, external backups available for you to restore at any time. On top of this, you can easily create and store 2 manual backups on our external backup machine.
¶ Steps 1: Navigate to your Backups Tab
1. On the left-hand side of your Indifferent Broccoli dashboard, select the Backups tab
¶ Step 2: Restore Your Backup
1. Select Restore next to the backup you wish to load on your server.
2. Wait for the server to restart. Once it comes online again, your server should load the restored backup.
¶ Method 2: Use Previous Enshrouded Save Iterations
As your save progresses, Enshrouded creates save iterations, marked by the -X number shown next to the save name. You can use these to roll back your save to an earlier iteration without requiring restoring a full backup.
¶ Step 1: Find your Save iterations
1. Open the File Manager
2. Navigate to /saves/ and check the timestamps next to each save iteration. This should help you determine which iteration you want to use.
¶ Step 2: Load that Iteration
3. Open the savename-index file
4. On the latest line, replace the number for the number of the iteration you wish to switch to.
5. Restart the server
