¶ Enshrouded: How to Upload a Local Save to a Dedicated Server
This guide will walk you through setting up your local Enshrouded save on your indifferent broccoli Enshrouded dedicated server.
NOTE: If you are moving your Enshrouded save from one server host to another, this guide will also be useful for you! Simply replace step one with your current server hosters file browser.
¶ Step 1: Find your Enshrouded Save Files
Learn how to upload an existing Enshrouded save to your Indifferent Broccoli dedicated server, update your save index, and continue your adventure.
1. Open File Explorer and navigate to your world files.
For Steam: %ProgramFiles(x86)%/Steam/userdata\YourSteamID3/1203620/remote/
For Local: %USERPROFILE%/Saved Games/keen games/Enshrouded/default
2. For each save, there is a world[].ksd file. The [] is replaced with a number based on the order the worlds were made, starting from 0. Find the world you wish to upload
NOTE: You can figure out which world is the one you're looking for by checking the 'Date Modified' section to see when it was last played.
¶ Step 2: Upload the Save Files
1. Open the File Manager
2. Navigate to /saves/
3. Upload the world[].ksd and file to the server
NOTE: If the names are the same you can overwrite the files on the server. If the names are different, rename the files to match what is on the server, you can rename the old files with
(Old)
4. Restart the server
