¶ How to Install Mods on your Factorio Server
Adding mods to your Factorio server is a simple process and there are plenty to choose from on Factorio's official mod page. Here's how you can spice up your gameplay in a few simple steps.
¶ Adding Mods to the Server
1. Download any mod from the official Factorio mod page.
2. Open the File Manager
3. Navigate to /mods/
4. Drag and drop your zip files you downloaded previously into this folder.
5. Restart your server and the mods will load. When mod updates are available, they will update when restarting the server.
¶ Adding Mods on your PC
1. Press ⊞ Win + R on your keyboard.
2. In the run box, paste in: %appdata%\Factorio\mods
3. Press enter or OK, and place your mod zip files in the folder than opened.
4. Start the game and you'll now have the mods loaded.
