Here is the official graphic on what will and will not be included with Build 42 unstable at launch:
With the information that Build 42 Unstable won't have multiplayer, it's slim that dedicated servers will see an update for a while after the unstable branch is released. We don't know how far into the unstable launch that multiplayer will be implemented, or if it will be left until the stable release of build 42. Despite this, you'll be able to test out all of the new features in singleplayer in preparation for the full launch. This might also give mod authors some insight into what they'll need to adjust, to make sure your favorite mods work on Build 42 when it is fully released.
The new Build UI was also finally previewed, allowing you to build custom structures more easily than ever. You can view the official video of how this will generally work below:
As mentioned in previous announcements, a whole new hunting and animal system will be introduced. With this announcement, the developers released a preview for the new animal UI, mainly when it comes to taking care of your own animals. This means you'll be able to live out your dream of being a farmer even more.
