¶ How to Repair Clothes in Project Zomboid
When you're focused on survival, sometimes you don't realize that your clothes are completely torn through and you look like you just came out of a zombie apocalypse. Well, that's exactly what happened. Luckily you don't have to ditch your clothes and you can repair them with just a few materials, here's how.
¶ Steps:
1. To repair your clothes, you'll need a few materials. A needle, thread and a material such as rags, denim strips or leather strips. For the best quality of repair, go with leather strips or denim strips, as rags aren't good for defense.
2. To start fixing your clothes, open your inventory and right click the damaged clothing item, then click Inspect.
3. In the next menu, right click a part of the piece you want to repair. You can either repair just a single part of all of the clothing if you have the materials.
4. The clothes will now show they have been patched, and the correlating defense benefits. A higher level of Tailoring will result in more defense.
Note that all clothing cannot be repaired, and to regain the original defense of the clothing you must have a Tailoring level of 8 or higher. In some cases it is best to pick up a new pair of clothes. However, make sure to still repair clothes for the XP gain.
You can also use a mod such as Repair Any Clothes to be able to repair any type of clothing.
