¶ How to Manage Nuclear Waste in Satisfactory
Nuclear Waste is an item in Satisfactory that is the byproduct of burning Uranium Fuel Rods in Nuclear Power Plants. While these power plants are great, dealing with all the waste it produces is not so great. With how much it produces, it's good to plan ahead on how you're going to deal with the mass amount of waste that's going to come from your power plants. Here are some of the ways you can handle managing all of this waste.
¶ Reprocessing Uranium
To get this annoying substance out of your way, you can reprocess it and get Plutonium Fuel Rods. This can essential get you a waste free Nuclear Power Plant that is extremely efficient. If you get too many Plutonium Fuel Rods, you can simply sink them in the AWESOME Sink which will get rid of it. Uranium Waste however can't be sunk, so it's best to reprocess it first so you have a near infinite supply of late game fuel.
¶ Being a Terrible Human Being
Find your least favorite Lizard Doggy and start feeding it Uranium Waste. The Doggo will eat a stack of waste and then kill the Doggo. This will remove it's inventory and your nuclear waste is no more you sick person.
¶ Hyper Tube Cannon
Build a powerful hypertube to launch yourself out of the map. What you'll do in this situation after building it strip down all of your important items and load yourself up with as much nuclear waste as possible. Then wear a Hazmat Suit and enter the cannon. Say goodbye to your life and your waste.
¶ Storage
You can create Storage Containers and Industrial Storage containers to store all of this waste. When you store it, make sure to store it far away from your center of operations, as radiation from the waste can spread in a 400 meter radius from it's location.
¶ Hyper Tubes
Enter a hyper tube and drop all of the waste. This is probably the worst way to handle it, since the items won't respawn and will be placed out of bounds which might cause lag when it's rendered.
Those are some of the best ways to handle your excess nuclear waste in Satisfactory. Please don't kill any of your poor Lizard Doggos for this.
