Oakveil has officially been released with a ton of new content for you to explore. With a new area to explore, new enemies, new bosses, weapons and much more, here's all you need to know about the Oakveil update for V Rising.
In this new update, you'll be facing a new antagonist in her twisted forest surrounded by her minions. She has corrupted the Oakveil Woodlands with her black magic and has made it her domain. You'll be fighting many creatures corrupted by her magic until she is defeated. Make sure you're prepared, the Oakveil Woodlands will bring new vampires to their knees.
Get ready to face new tough bosses in this update. You'll be facing the Venomblades, Megara's followers in the Oakveil Woodlands. These new bosses will spread the corruption of Megara everywhere they go. Each one of the Venomblades has a different type of weapon, making each fight a different type of battle, so make sure you're prepared for these.
Finally, you can practice your combat skills or really test out some of the new weapons in the new update. The arena also boasts some new bosses such as Sir Erwin The Gallant Cavalier and Gaius The Cursed Champion. Not only is there an arena you can test your skills in, you can also make your own area in the castle with your own set of rules, all without a single scratch to your precious armor and weapons.
If you didn't think this update was big enough yet, we're just getting started. Now there are three new weapon classes, Claws, Twinblades, and Throwing Daggers so you can really feel like a vampire. Not only are there new melee weapons, but there are seven new spells that you can flex on your friends with.
Not only will you have three new weapon classes and seven new spells, you'll also have even more features to spice up your combat in Oakveil. You can now use weapon coating to apply enchantments to your weapons, use artifacts to modify your stats, and use alchemy to buff yourself when fighting the tough new enemies. With these new technologies combined, you can make Oakveil a walk in the park.
In case that all wasn't enough to revamp combat, there are now even more ways to make your combat experience more complex and enjoyable. New blood types are now in the game such allowing you to apply different buffs to your character. You'll need to get to work in the lab to start improving your blood types. You'll also be able to apply passive spells to your character allowing for different effects at the same time, further buffing your character that you can adjust depending on what you need for each fight. Now with Vampire Ascendency, you'll be able to unlock new passive spells by killing V Bloods during your progression.
With all of the new combat features, you'll likely want a nice place to come back to after your adventures. With all the loot you'll collect, you can now store it in the treasury, a huge vault that you can craft that will automatically go to your crafting station so you no longer need to go between chests and the crafting table. You'll also be able to create new weapons and jewels using the Fusion Forge, a new addition that makes it so you won't need to hunt down these weapons and jewels anymore, you can just make them. There are also new structures such as stables, prisons, and sawmills for storing animals, your “food”, and cut wood. After all, you'll have plenty of wood after exploring the Oakveil Woodlands. You'll also have options for new decorations for your castles to make it even more visually appealing.
