¶ Palworld: How to Upload an Existing Save
If you want to continue your Palworld experience on a different server, you can follow these steps to upload your save.
¶ Step 1: Find Your Save Game
1. Press ⊞ Win + R on your keyboard
2. Copy and paste the following into the text field that appears: %APPDATA%\..\Local\Pal\Saved\SaveGames\
3. You'll then see a folder with your Steam ID, double click it and you'll see all of your save games.
¶ Step 2: Upload Your Save Game to the Server
1. Stop the Server
2. Open the File Manager
3. Navigate to /Pal/Saved/SaveGames/0/
Note: You can delete the existing save folder here if you do not wish to use it.
4. Upload your save folder to the server.
¶ Step 3: Configure Your Settings
1. Navigate to /Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/
2. Right click GameUserSettings.ini and click Edit
3. Set DedicatedServerName= to the name of your save folder. This will be a bunch of letters and numbers.
4. Restart your server and your save and characters will have transferred.
Note: If the save was a coop session, the host will not have their character. Please use the Host Fix guide here to migrate the host character.
