¶ Satisfactory: How to Configure Backups
In Satisfactory, backups are created during each autosave interval. By default, the server will only store three backups at a time and delete the oldest ones as each new autosave is made. By changing the config you'll be able to change this to a higher number so you can have a bigger selection of backups when needed.
¶ Steps:
1. Open the File Manager
2. Navigate to /steamcmd/satisfactory/FactoryGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/
3. Right click and click edit on Engine.ini
4. Add the following lines to the file, replacing “xx” with the number of backups you want stored at one time:
[/Script/FactoryGame.FGSaveSession]
mNumRotatingAutosaves=xxWhen finished you should have a file that looks something like this:
5. Restart the server
